Ukraine, Russia report fresh missile, drone attacks

Ukraine and Russia both reported further missile and drone attacks, as well as a number of explosions on Friday.
Russia fired 17 missiles and 31 kamikaze drones towards Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian air force, which also shot down 10 cruise missiles and 23 Iranian Shahed drones, as well as two reconnaissance drones.

Ukraine’s government announced strikes in the Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk areas.
The military administration in Dnipro reported explosions and the damage of two businesses—a gas station and a residence.
One worker at the fuel station was hurt.
According to the administration, it was a huge attack involving missiles and drones.
In Kiev, missile fire triggered air defences, and Serhiy Popko, the chief of the Kiev military administration, reported missile debris had damaged the roof of a shopping and entertainment facility.
A house was also hit, and automobiles in a parking lot were damaged, he added, adding that no one was hurt.
Russia also claimed that Ukrainians carried out strikes on its territory.
According to reports, an explosion occurred in the city of Krasnodar following a suspected drone attack.
According to local authorities, an office block and a residential block were both struck.
There were also reports of additional bombardment in the Belgorod region around the border town of Graivoron.
Heavily armed fighters with military equipment were said to have entered from the Ukrainian side on Monday.
More than 70 attackers were destroyed, the Russian Defence Ministry said.
