Russia launched a new wave of air attacks on Kyiv early Monday, employing drones and cruise missiles, shooting down more than 40 targets.

According to the Ukrainian capital’s military administration, there were no serious damages or injuries in Kyiv during Russia’s 15th air assault on the city in May, and the second overnight bombing in a row of equal severity.

“Another difficult night for the capital,” Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said on the Telegram messaging channel.

The incident follows the previous night’s largest drone onslaught on Kyiv, which killed one person and injured numerous more. 36 drones were shot down over Kyiv during the attack on Sunday.
