Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has wished President Muhammadu Buhari well as he hands over to the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu today.
The governor, who will be sworn-in for a second term in office today, thanked Buhari for conferring on him with the title of the Commander of the order of Niger (CON).
“It was indeed an honor, as I was conferred with the title of Commander of the order of Niger (CON).
“A big thank you to the President, His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, for deeming it fit to bestow upon me, this National honour.
“I wish you well as you formally handover the mantle of leadership to the President- elect, today Monday, 29th. To the good people of Lagos, I dedicate this honour to you, for your support and acceptance.
“You all have given me the opportunity to serve you again. I promise to continue to serve diligently and conscientiously. Thank You,” Sanwo-Olu tweeted on Monday morning.
