Sevilla defeated Roma 4-1 on penalty to win their seventh Europa League trophy on Wednesday, in Budapest, Hungary.

The match ended 1-1 on duration time which necessitated an extra-time, which did not produce any goal.

The match was then decided on penalty shootout and Sevilla carried the day again to show that they are they king of Europa.

Roma had opened scoring on 35 minutes. Gianluca Mancini slipped the ball through to Paulo Dybala and he darted into the box to unleash a magnificent shot into the bottom right corner.

On first half added time, Ivan Rakitic received a precise low pass and attempted to surprise the keeper with a quick execution. A superb strike was only denied by the right post.

An own goal on 55 minutes gave Sevilla an equaliser. Gianluca Mancini, attempting to intercept an offensive pass,  scored an own goal and made it 1-1.

On 67 minutes, Tammy Abraham shot the rebound towards the goal. His effort lacked pace and that allowed the goalkeeper to pull off a stunning save.
