On Thursday, the Anambra State House of Assembly adjourned plenary for the conclusion of its business session to June 6 due to its inability to form a quorum.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that the day’s sitting, which commenced at 1.50 pm, was adjourned at about 2.30 pm, with only seven of the 30 lawmakers present.

The Speaker, Dr Uche Okafor, had called for a motion to adopt the votes and proceedings of the May 25 sitting, when Mr Noble Igwe, representing Ogbaru Constituency l, drew his attention to the low turnout of members.
