Kayode Fayemi, former governor of Ekiti state, was subjected to intense questioning at the office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Thursday.
The Cable reported that Fayemi was grilled at the zonal command of the anti-graft agency in Ilorin, Kwara state capital.
Fayemi arrived at the EFCC facility at about 10am on Thursday.
He was questioned over allegations of N4 billion misappropriation during his tenure as governor of Ekiti.
When contacted by PM News, EFCC’s spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren did not deny the report.
He said: “The fact is that we are not granting interview over the matter.”
