Burna Boy returns with 'Sittin on top of the World'

Grammy Award-winning artiste, Damini Ogulu better known as Burna Boy, has returned to the Nigerian music space with a new song called “Sittin’ On Top Of The World”.

He announced the release of the new song with a snippet posted on his social media page.

This comes nearly a year since he released his sixth studio album, Love, Damini, which peaked at No. 14 on the Billboard 200 and garnered a 2023 Grammy nomination for best world music album.

The new song “Sittin’ On Top Of The World” was produced by Skread and it borrows from Brandy and Mase’s 1998 song “Top Of The World.”

In the snippet, Burna Boy is seen standing on top of a floating platform at one of his gigs during his Love, Damini tour, and from there, fans follow his journey around the world, including red-carpet pit stops, long walks to private jets, greetings with famous friends, performances, club appearances, and much more.
