Former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, the former governor of Delta State, James Ibori and the Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde are in a meeting with President Bola Tinubu as of the time of filing this report.
The meeting is taking place at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Wike, Ibori Makinde arrived the State House at about 4:20 pm.
Wike and Makinde are members of the PDP but openly worked for victory of Tinubu against the ambition of Atiku Abubakar.
Ibori also worked for Tinubu’s victory after his candidate for the PDP governorship election lost to the candidate of the former governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
The agenda of today’s meeting is not yet known. However, there are unconfirmed rumours that Ibori may soon defect to the APC, having lost control of the PDP in Delta State.
