Nigerian actress, Stephanie Linus has been named to the jury at the highly anticipated 2023 Tribeca Film Festival.

She will be among a group of several dozen actors, writers, filmmakers, and producers, including Brendan Fraser, Chance the Rapper, Jeremy O. Harris, and others, who will vote for winners in 15 prize categories.

From June 7 to 18, the acclaimed festival will bestow honours in categories ranging from narrative and documentary movies and shorts to immersive storyscapes, games, and audio storytelling.

All award winners will be announced on June 15 at the Tribeca Film Festival ceremony.

Other members of the A-list jury include Oscar nominee Stephanie Hsu (Everything, Everywhere), Zoe Deutch (The Politician), Dianna Agron (Glee), Zazie Beetz (Atlanta), Kate Siegel (Hush), Nina Dobrev (The Vampire Diaries), Piper Perabo (Covert Affairs), Noah Centineo (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before), and Chloe Grace Moretz (Kick-As).

The Tribeca Film Festival was launched in 2001 by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal, and Craig Hatkoff to stimulate the economic and cultural revival of Lower Manhattan following 9/11. This year’s roster includes 109 feature, narrative, documentary, and animated films by 127 directors from 36 nations.
