West Ham have won this year’s Europa Conference League trophy after beating Italian side, Fiorentina 2-1 in the final on Wednesday.

The match was played at the Fortuna Arena in Prague, Czech Republic.

After a goalless first half, West Ham took the lead on 62 minutes from the penalty spot. Mohamed Said Benrahma sent the penalty kick into the right of the net.

Fiorentina equalised five minutes later. Giacomo Bonaventura was put through by Nicolas Gonzalez and he showed brilliant composure inside the box to fire into the bottom left corner.

On 72 minutes, Rolando Mandragora homed in on a magnificent reverse pass from Arthur Cabral and struck a crisp shot goalwards that just missed the left post.

On 81 minutes, Pietro Terracciano had a great save. Tomas Soucek rose high to head a lofted cross towards goal. His effort from the edge of the box towards the top left corner was saved by the goalkeeper.
West Ham scored their second goal on duration time. A great link up play between Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paqueta gave the former a clear sight of goal on the edge of the box. He did not disappoint and beat the keeper in the bottom right corner.
