Michael Kibet, a 26-year-old ICT and Telecommunication First Class graduate from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Kenya, has died by suicide over unemployment.
Kibet, who graduated from the University in 2021, allegedly took his own life at his brother’s compound after searching for employment opportunities in vain, K24tv reported on Thursday.
Confirming the incident, Area Chief, David Rugut, said the deceased Kibet himself outside his brother’s house out of frustration.
He lamented the loss which the death of the bright student and dependable professional in the entire Chepsangor location, had caused the family.
