Nigerian artiste Wande coal has advised fellow top artistes in the music industry to remain friendly with new generation of artistes, now labeled as ‘new cats.’
In an interview with Cool Fm, he cited his relationship with Wizkid as an exmaple.
Wande Coal said: “from back in the day when you are really hot it’s always good to hold on to the new talents.”
“We kept this love from then and now you see what’s happening now.”
He also advised his fellow veteran artistes in the music industry that “no matter what level you are, no matter how big you are, stay friendly with the ‘New Cats’.”
Speaking further, he went on to say that as long as an artiste knows that music changes with time and one is still in tune with the new generation, an artiste will always pop because there is an affiliation with them.
