While waiting for Guinness World Record to confirm her as the record holder for longest cook-a-thon, Chef Hilda Baci is now facing new competitor.
Chef Damilola Adeparusi has begun 120-hour cooking marathon in Oye Local Government Area in Ekiti State with the intention of breaking Chef Hilda’s unofficial record.
Although authorities of the Guinness World Record are yet to confirm Hilda Baci’s record for long cooking hours, Chef Damilola’s latest task has netizens shocked especially on social media.
Baci had on May 15, 2023 shattered the Guinness World Record for the “longest cooking marathon by an individual.”
She smashed the 87 hours 45 minutes record set by Guinness World Record holder, Lata Tandon.
Baci later set a new world record after cooking for 100 hours, but her record is still being awaited to be verified by Guinness.
