Police have charged over 106 suspects to court for their involvement in looting and other criminal activities at various locations recently across Kano metropolis.

The suspects were arraigned before Magistrate Court 35, Normansland, and charged with offences ranging from criminal conspiracy, trespass, shop breaking, mischief and theft.
The Kano state Police Command spokesman, Superintendent of Police, Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, said the suspects were arrested at various locations within Kano metropolis.
According to him, the looted properties were also recovered from them.
