Looking back on his journey of life to where he is now, son of Governor Ademola Adeleke known as B-Red recounts how he and his cousin Davido Adeleke sold 20 TV’s from Davido’s father’s house to raise money.
“Me and Davido wanted to sell all the cars in the house, but we couldn’t because the cars weren’t in
our names. Davido’s father bought him Hyundai but luckily before we could sell it he had already changed the car documents to his name. We couldn’t sell off the cars but we sold up to 16 to 17s TV plus 3 TVs from the basement,” the singer stated.
In his interview with Echoo Room, B Red noted that he and Davido stole the TVs because Don Jazzy had promised to help them while they were overseas if they could relocate to Nigeria.
He said “”Don Jazzy told us to come to Nigeria and he would support us after we hosted him for 5 hours”.
Although he regrets that decision due to the disrespect, he is happy that they did it to pursue their musical careers.
According to B-red, some people would think he had a smooth ride throughout his life because of his
family background, but it was not all smooth.
Bred said he suffered, but he was grateful to God at the moment because his life had changed for the
better.
While appreciating God, B-red also prayed that God keeps and blesses him and gives him the enablement to serve him.
