Groovy’s feelings for me were not genuine – Phyna

BBNaija Level Up Winner Ijeoma Josephina Otabo ‘Phyna’ in a recent interview with Prime Morning, revealed the details of her relationship with Groovy, a fellow contestant in the house.

While in the house the ‘ship’ between Phyna and Groovy was one of the highlights that people talked about.

Some expected the relationship to continue after the show, but it did not go well.

In the interview, Phyna said she had genuine feelings in the beginning for Groovy in the house but discovered that his feelings were not genuine as he loves another lady.

Phyna said she found out Groovy also stayed with her based on advice given to him by fellow housemates.

She recalled how she heard one of the housemates saying he should stay with Phyna while they were in the house because she was a strong contender for the winning position.

She said “When I found out the way it was going, I just had to be smart. Come on I am an Edo girl and we don’t carry last”.

She described her personality as someone willing to go the extra mile to get something she wants and that was why she continued to be all over Groovy, describing it as playing her game.
