President Bola Tinubu, in suspending the Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa on Wednesday ordered him to handover to the Director of Operations in the commission, Abdulkarim Chukkol.
Who is Abdulkarim Chukkol? Below are key facts about him.
1. He bagged a Bachelor of Science at the University of Maiduguri between 1995 and 2000.
2. Chukkol obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Criminal Justice Education at the University of Virginia in 2011.
3. He holds Diploma in Cybersecurity and Spectrum Monitoring at the United States Telecommunications Training Institute in 2010
4. He joined the EFCC in 2003 and rose through the ranks to become principal detective and director of operations.
5. He was at the FBI National Academy, Quantico Session 244 in 2011.
6. Chukkol was Director of Operation at the EFCC till he was appointed acting Chairman.
7. He was also at the Canadian Police College for Criminal Justice Education in 2006
