Quick Read

The 6ft 2in sweeper kept eight clean sheets in Serie A last term and completed 722 passes, with 24 of these being sent into the final third.

Inter Milan stopper Andre Onana is prepared to leave the club and join Manchester United this summer, according to 90Min.

Onana, 27, was a staple in Inter’s run to the Champions League final last season and helped his club secure a spot in next season’s competition through some fine performances in Serie A.

But the former Ajax man may have played his last match in Italy as the Red Devils contemplate a move.

The Cameroon international is believed to be the perfect replacement for David de Gea, 32, who is out of contract at the end of the month.

Onana is admired for his ball-playing abilities and calmness under pressure — two key attributes valued by United boss Erik ten Hag.

It is reported that a fee upwards of £50million would be required to release the 34-cap international from his current contract that runs until 2027.

The 6ft 2in sweeper kept eight clean sheets in Serie A last term and completed 722 passes, with 24 of these being sent into the final third.

Onana looks to be the perfect fit for United, who are looking to close the gap in quality to arch-rivals Manchester City.
