Search through rubble in Finsbury Park house collapse concluded

Search by firefighters through the debris of a collapsed house at Finsbury Park in the London neighbourhood of Harringay has been concluded with no casualty found.
A semi-detached house in Finsbury Park, which has now been reduced to rubble, collapsed on Saturday afternoon.
According to local media reports, search and rescue dogs were used in the effort on Gloucester Drive, as well as drones, while residents on the street have been evacuated from their homes.
MyLondon quotes Station Commander Jon Singleton who was at the scene as saying: “In hot and humid conditions, crews from our Urban Search and Rescue teams worked tirelessly, alongside our drone team and police search dogs, to ensure that there were no casualties trapped under the rubble. Thankfully no injuries are reported.”

Resident Samir Jeraj said on Twitter: “Back end of a large house has collapsed on Gloucester Drive.” He added: “Lots of emergency vehicles on scene. Area has been evacuated while cause is determined.”
