In a recent social media altercation, the Nigerian Afro-pop star Yemi Alade has fiercely responded to a Twitter user who dared to comment on her wardrobe malfunction.
With a fiery clap back that showcased her self-assurance and ability to shut down negativity, Alade left no doubt that she stands tall in the face of online trolls.
The incident unfolded after the popular artiste shared a stunning photo on her Twitter page on Tuesday, accompanied by a caption that celebrated her beauty and musical prowess.
In her tweet, Alade confidently wrote, “I’m amazing, extremely talented, kind, and extraordinary. You would mistake me for an angel.”
However, one Twitter user took the opportunity to zoom in on the photo and pointed out a torn part of her outfit.
“Am I the only one seeing this,” she commented.
Unwilling to let the comment slide, Alade swiftly fired back with a strong response that put the troll in their place.
She replied, “This pic was posted 3 mins ago, and that was enough time for you to zoom and tweet your ignorance. Imagine if you paid attention to the details of your life in this manner, you would be in a better place by now. It’s on both thighs since that area is your business too.”
