Talented singer and lawyer, Victory Gbakara, has emerged winner of the 8th edition of Nigeria’s favorite reality TV music talent show, Nigerian Idol.
Gbakara was announced winner at the Nigerian Idol season finale on Sunday, having secured more votes from viewers than runner-up, Precious Mac.
For winning the show, which ran for sixteen weeks, Gbakara won N35m cash prize and other prizes with millions of Naira.
The season 8 top 10 contestants were Savvy Henry; Constance; Goodness; Abraham; Quest; Precious Mac, Victory; Reigny; Ose Daniel, and Chisom.
Performances on the live show were judged by the viewers who held the power to retain and evict contestants through their votes.
