American businesswoman Anita Brown has faced a barrage of criticism from fans following the release of her controversial diss track “Womanizer” aimed at Nigerian Afrobeat star, Davido.
The track, which seemingly takes aim at Davido‘s personal life and alleged infidelity, sparked intense reactions across various online platforms.
Anita Brown, who had been at the center of controversy in the past due to her alleged relationship with Davido while he was still married, took to her social media accounts to announce the release of the diss track. In her post, she urged women to stand up against mistreatment and to stop being silent victims of the patriarchal system.
However, instead of receiving widespread support, Brown faced a wave of backlash from fans and followers.
A fan commented, “Gurl, let that hurt go. That man ain’t leaving his wife. He just played with you. Move on. We are tired of hearing about it.”
Another fan dismissed her efforts, saying, “When you raised your legs for 5 mins pleasure, did you invite us? I won’t be watching because I know it will be tacky.”
Several fans accused Brown of seeking attention and attempting to capitalise on her alleged past with Davido to gain fame.
One fan scornfully posted, “You’re a disgrace to women. Stop making a fool of yourself and move on already.”
