FG issues deadline to ministerial nominees to complete documentation

The Federal Government has issued Sunday deadline to the 28 ministerial nominees to complete all their documentations.

This is in preparatory to the screening of ministerial nominees at the senate due to commence on Monday, 31 July 2023.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (Senate), Sen. Abdullahi Gumel in a statement asked the nominees to complete documentation by Sunday unfailingly.

Gumel said the nominees were to submit required documents to his office located at the National Assembly over the weekend.

He added that the purpose was to ensure a hitch-free exercise on Monday.

President Bola Tinubu had on Thursday transmitted to the senate list of 28 ministerial nominees for screening and confirmation.

The senate is set to commence the screening on Monday.
