President Bola Tinubu has written to the Senate withdrawing nomination of Maryam Shetty from the list of ministerial nominees.
Tinubu had on Wednesday forwarded the name of Shetty, with 18 others to the Senate as ministerial nominees.
But no reason was for her withdrawal from the list. The president has replaced her with Mairiga Mahmud.
Also, Tinubu forwarded the name of Festus Keyamo, spokesperson of the APC Campaign Council to the upper chamber as ministerial nominee, making the total nominees to be 48.
The president had last week Thursday forwarded the first list of 28 ministerial nominees to the Senate for screening and confirmation.
He later sent another list of 19 ministerial nominees for screening on Wednesday.
Some former governors who made the list are: Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna), Gboyega Oyetola (Osun), Bello Matawalle (Zamfara), Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi), Abubakar Badaru (Jigawa) and Ibrahim Geidam (Yobe).
