President Bola Tinubu and Orire Agbaje, the 400-level student of University of Ibadan he appointed as member of Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms

Miss Orire Agbaje, a 400-level student of the University of Ibadan (UI) is one of the members of Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms inaugurated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at Aso rock presidential villa, Abuja on Tuesday.

The Committee, chaired by renowned tax expert, Taiwo Oyedele is saddled with the task of carrying out tax law reforms, fiscal policy design as well as the coordination, harmonisation of taxes, and revenue administration.

According to President Tinubu, the committee headed by Taiwo Oyedele, is also expected to come up with a schedule of quick reforms that can be implemented within thirty days.

It is expected to deliver the critical reform measures within six months while the full implementation is expected within one calendar year.

In a post on its twitter page, the presidency said the committee also has as member Orire Agbaje, who is a 400 – level student of Economics in the University of Ibadan.

Agbaje is also the president of UI’s tax club as well as Nigeria Higher Education Foundation (NHEF) Scholar.

The UI student is also the President of the Nigerian Universities Tax Club.
