Former Big Brother Naija contestant, Tokunbo Idowu, widely known as TBoss, has shared an emotional account of motherhood journey as she celebrates her daughter’s fourth birthday today.
In a touching Instagram post, TBoss posted adorable and charming pictures of her daughter and herself, commemorating the young one’s new age. Despite her proficiency in expressing herself through writing, TBoss admitted to being lost for words on this occasion.
Narrating the extraordinary story of her child’s birth, TBoss conveyed her sense of disbelief that four years have already passed since her daughter’s arrival. She eloquently described the experience of witnessing her child’s growth and transformation as an upgraded version of herself, capturing the profound beauty of parenthood.
“For someone who expresses herself better by writing, I sure am at a loss for words. My heart is full. I’m beyond proud of my daughter, and I am proud of myself. It’s been an incredible journey thus far – 4 years – whilst it seems so long, I struggle to wrap my head around it because seriously, wasn’t she born just 4 days ago?”
TBoss continued by expressing her gratitude for the blessings of motherhood and the joy of watching her daughter evolve into her own unique individual. She extended her appreciation to the divine, acknowledging the role of faith in her parenting journey.
“4 years of God’s ultimate blessings because what’s better than watching an upgraded version of you being born, grow & blossom into someone you could never be?!!! God is truly great, and my heart is overflowing with gratitude. Thank you Lord for choosing me. And thank you for never forsaking me whilst I waddle through this thing called Motherhood.”
In concluding her post, TBoss playfully shared her astonishment at the passage of time and the fact that her “Online sister, cousin, and Baby” has reached another milestone.
She thanked those involved in capturing the poignant moments in photographs, as well as the makeup artist who contributed to her appearance.
