There was pandemonium recently at Ajangbadi, a suburb of Lagos as two middle-aged ladies caught in the act of lesbianism escaped being lynched by an angry mob who stormed the hotel premises on a tip-off chanting anti – LGBT slogan.

Mrs Oshiobor Grace, 41, a mother of three from Edo state was caught in the act of lesbianism with a female partner, Izevbigie Hilda at a hotel in the neighbourhood of Ajangbadi, Ojo local government area of Lagos State.

While Grace Oshiobor was able to escape the attack through the window to an undisclosed location, her partner, Izevbigie was also fortunate to be rescued by a local vigilance group.

As of the time of filing this report, no one seems to know the whereabouts of Mrs Oshiobor Grace while her partner Hilda is being kept in the custody of the local vigilantes for interrogation.

Reports, however, reveal that she might soon be released to the Nigerian police for prosecution.

LGBT and other related practices are strictly prohibited by Nigerian laws.

Same-sex law prohibition bill signed into law on January 7, 2014, by then President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan criminalizes same sex marriage and public display of affection of the same sex.

The law imposes a 14-year jail sentence on the offender.
