Kane scores historic goal

Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that the Bundesliga champions are aiming to finalise the signing of England captain Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur.

“We are working on it intensely, that much I can confirm. As of right now, no agreement has been reached.

“It is a process, Tuchel told reporters on the eve of Saturday’s German Super Cup match against RB Leipzig.

Spurs have granted Kane permission to fly to Germany for the medical.

It might potentially coincide with the signing of a four-year contract before Friday’s deadline.

The previous day, Bayern and Tottenham reportedly agreed on a transfer cost of roughly €115 million ($126 million), plus add-ons.

Kane is Bayern Munich’s top transfer target, as the Bundesliga is looking for a top striker after last season’s roster failed to compensate for the departure of Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona a year ago.
