Actress Faithia Balogun has revealed that she almost turned down a role in the highly acclaimed movie “Jagun Jagun.”
The renowned Yoruba actress said it was her management’s persistent encouragement that ultimately convinced her to take on the role, a decision she’s now immensely grateful for.
In a heartfelt message, Faithia expressed her gratitude to fellow actor Femi Adebayo for granting her the chance to shine once again on the big screen.
The actress noted that upon first reading the script, she couldn’t have anticipated the remarkable journey that awaited her.
She commended Adebayo’s visionary approach to filmmaking, praising the depth and complexity of the project that became evident as it unfolded on screen.
“Jagun Jagun,” far from being just another film, is hailed by Faithia as a masterpiece woven with emotions, dedication, and unparalleled artistry. Faithia extended her appreciation to the post-production team, led by the talented @anthills_ and @niyiakinmolayan, for their integral role in bringing the director’s vision to life.
Faithia‘ message was a tribute to the collaborative spirit of the film industry, as she also acknowledged her co-stars and the behind-the-scenes heroes who contributed to the movie’s success.
She emphasized the togetherness that was built during the production and how it left an indelible mark on her heart.
Interestingly, it was revealed that Faithia had almost declined the role, were it not for her management at @thehypeagencyng, led by @officialsamolatunji, who insisted she should take it.
Faithia acknowledged that she now sees the wisdom in their advice and expressed her thanks for the chance to once again showcase her acting prowess.
