Nigerian entertainer Naira Marley paid a visit to the National Headquarters of NDLEA in Abuja on Thursday to declare support for the “War Against Drug Abuse” campaign.

The Marlian boss noted that drug abuse is not good for anybody’s health.

“Let us stop substance abuse in any form. I have keyed into this campaign to support NDLEA to stop drugs on the street, please join us,” Naira Marley added.

However, the partnership between NDLEA and Naira Marley has raised negative reactions from Nigerians.

A Nigerian identified as Abdulmumini Adam described it as a “confused” partnership due to the knowledge that Naira Marley is known for promoting usage of Indian Hemp and other illicit drugs on social media and in his music videos.

“We play too much in this country,” Abdullahi Adekunle, another Nigerian reacting to the partnership stated.

“Comedy,” Babangida Musa simply stated.

“Nigerian system is nothing but a film making,” another Nigerian alleged.
