Bewaji isn’t my first wife but my daughter – Portable

Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has recently unveiled a startling secret about his marital life.

Contrary to widespread assumptions, Portable unveiled during an interview on the Honest Bunch Podcast that his current wife, Omobewaji, whom many believed to be his first spouse, was in fact his daughter prior to their romantic involvement.

The singer candidly shared that Omobewaji had played a pivotal role in his life during a particularly challenging period, standing by his side and steadfastly believing in his potential when his other relationships faltered.

Recounting his past, Portable highlighted that his previous girlfriends had let him down, which drew attention to Omobewaji’s unwavering support both emotional and financial.

In a surprising disclosure, Portable admitted to the practice of regularly checking his wife’s phone. He explained that his motive behind this action was to shield her from negative influences and prevent potential manipulation or misguided advice from external sources.

The singer also spoke passionately about his views on monogamy and loyalty. He stressed the significance of fully committing to one partner and underlined that individuals should not embark on multiple relationships if they are unable to provide proper care and attention to each one.

Portable and Omobewaji, who share two children, formalized their union in a wedding ceremony held during their son’s naming celebration last year.

In addition to their shared offspring, the singer has three children from three previous relationships.
