Elton John hospitalised in France after a fall

British singer Elton John was hospitalised over the weekend after falling at his villa in Nice, France.
The “I’m Still Standing” crooner, 76, was transported to the Princess Grace hospital’s orthopedic centre in Monaco where he received precautionary treatment.
“We can confirm that following a slip yesterday at his home in the South of France, Elton visited the local hospital as a precautionary measure,” John’s rep told the Daily Mail today.
“Following check ups, he was immediately discharged this morning and is now back at home and in good health.”
John, 76, has been spending the summer on the French Riviera with his husband, David Furnish, and their two kids after wrapping his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour in early July.
The Grammy winner thanked his fans for the continued support throughout his more than 5-decade-long career.
