Everton’s Alex Iwobi is nearing a £20million move to Fulham, another Premier League clubside, a report by Daily Mail said.

The Cottagers are advancing in a deal for the 27-year-old who is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury sustained during the Toffees 1-0 defeat to Wolves.

The former Arsenal winger started all 38 games for Everton last season as his transition to a central role helped the club stave off relegation and would be a huge loss for Sean Dyche’s side.

As a result, Everton are considering a move for the 26-year-old Cornet, who joined the Hammers from Burnley, where he played under Dyche, last summer but has failed to nail down a starting spot.

Cornet has been in all three of David Moyes’ match day squads but has only seen one minute of action in their first outing against Bournemouth.
