Ganduje: APC will win Kogi governorship election by landslide

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has said the party will the 11 November governorship election in Kogi State by a landslide.

Ganduje spoke at a dinner organised to honour the members of the APC National Campaign Council for the Kogi governorship election who are in the state for the official inauguration of the Committee.

Ganduje described Kogi as a ‘safe state’ for APC while expressing confidence that the party will record 99 per cent success in the November governorship election, above the 90 per cent it recorded during the 2023 General election.

He assured that President Ahmed Bola Tinubu will provide an enabling environment required for peaceful and credible conduct of the gubernatorial poll

Ganduje also said the APC National Working Committee will support the party’s candidate while urging that all hands should be on deck for victory of the party in the election.

In his remarks, Gov. Yahaya Bello assured that the party would win more than 90% of the votes that will be cast in the November election.

Bello said the APC governorship candidate, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, has been well well groomed, with the needed experience and competence to move the state forward in all sectors.

He assured that Ododo will do well in providing the needed leadership for Kogi State.

Governor Bello recalled that Kogi State used to be majorly a PDP State. But he said through his leadership style, successes, and achievements, he has converted it an APC State.

Bello said Ododo and Oyibo Salifu, his running mate, are experienced and as a team, they have all it takes to sustain and build on his achievements in Kogi State.

Speaking at the dinner, the APC Governorship flag bearer promised to lead the state in a manner that the people would be proud of.
