Rema’s most popular single, Calm Down won several awards Sunday night at the 16th Headies in Atlanta, Georgia.
Rema won Best Male artist, African Artist of the Year and Digital artist of the year. Aremu Olaiwola Qudus a.k.a Director K, who produced the video of the song also won Best Video Director.
Asake also scooped several awards. He won Next Rated Artist and his ‘Mr. Money With The Vibez’, won Album of the year.
Burna Boy’s Last Last won Afrobeats single of the year and Song of the Year.
OdumoduBLVCK wins RAP SINGLE of THE YEAR with Declan Rice.SeyiVibes was also on the honours list.
The Headies Awards which began in 2006 have become the biggest prize in Nigerian music.
Sunday’s show, was the second time the award will take place in Atlanta.
