Iroche, Nwadiuko quit United Capital as directors

Mr. Sonny Iroche and Sir Stephen Nwadiuko have resigned their directorship of United Capital plc, a subsidiary of United Bank of Africa(UBA).

The company’s secretary Leo Okafor announced the resignation in a statement made available to the Nigerian Exchange on Tuesday.

The company thanked the duo for their contributions wished them the best in their future endeavours.

Both Iroche and Nwadiuko joined the board of United Capital in 2018.

Nwadiuko is a fellow of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Compliance Institute of Nigeria as well as an associate of Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria.

He is a retired Deputy Director, Banking Supervision Department of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) where he worked for over 20 years.

He was a former council member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and Chairman Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Abuja Branch.

He was the Managing Director/CEO of First Guarantee Pensions Limited now owned by Access Corporation.

Mr. Sonny Iroche is also a seasoned Finance Executive with over 35 years’ experience in Banking, Power and Public Service.

He served on various boards such as the International Glass Industries Limited and GT Bank Sierra Leone.
