The Presidential Election Petition Court(PEPC) has released the 798-page judgment on the petitions filed by Abubakar Atiku, Peter Obi and Allied Peoples Movement against the election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

At its ruling on Wednesday, the court chaired by Justice Hassan Tsammani dismissed the three petition, especially for lacking material facts and being unmeritorious.

The Court thus affirmed Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the duly elected President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and parties are to bear their cost.

The APM case was the first to be dismissed. The court said it lacked merit and that the party has no locus standi having been a pre-election matter.

The court spent more than five hours on Peter Obi and his LP petition, painstakingly demolition the prayers canvassed.

According to the unanimous ruling, the LP and its candidate, Mr. Peter Obi were unable to prove that INEC deliberately refused to upload the results on IREV

The court also dismissed LP’s Widespread Irregularities Claim as Generic.
