Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and former Nigeria’s Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for Economy, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, GCON, has said she was pleasantly surprised by the US President, Joe Biden at the ongoing 2023 G20 Leaders Summit in New Delhi, India.
The WTO Director-General on Sunday posted selfies of her and others taken by the American President on her verified X (formerly Twitter) handle at the summit.
“Some great moments with President Joe Biden @POTUS and also with @JakeSullivan46 National Security Advisor, discussing @WTO reform especially reform of the Dispute Settlement System. President Biden surprised us by taking a photo of me, my staff and @JakeSullivan46,” Okonjo-Iweala tweeted.
She also posted her photographs with other world leaders at the event.
The 69-year-old brilliant economist became DG of the World Trade Organization in March 2021.
