DJ Kaywise shares cryptic post on suicide plan by 9pm

Popular DJ, Dj Kaywise has shared a cryptic message on his Instagram page on his suicide plan to end his life by 9 pm tonight.

Ayorinde Kehinde Okiki, professionally known as DJ Kaywise posted: “I will end it all by 9 pm today. I did my best”.

DJ Kaywise made his initial mark in the music scene back in 2010 when he ventured into the mixtape industry in Alaba, Nigeria. Over the years, he has risen to prominence as a DJ in Nigeria, collaborating with numerous Nigerian music icons and achieving chart-topping success.

While DJ Kaywise initially started his career as a record producer, his passion for becoming a Disc Jockey eventually took center stage. In 2010, he embarked on his journey as a DJ, gaining significant recognition after the release of his “Emergency” mixtape, which made waves in the Alaba market in Lagos.

DJ Kaywise’s impressive discography includes over 10,000 CD Mixtapes and more than 50 online mixtape releases.

He has also collaborated with various Nigerian and African artists, both in terms of music production and visual projects.

In 2012, DJ Kaywise marked his debut as a recording artist with the release of the single “Hangover,” featuring Dammy Krane and Yung 6ix. Subsequently, in 2013, he collaborated with Iyanya on the single “Loyalist.”

Throughout his career, DJ Kaywise has worked with notable Nigerian musicians such as Mayorkun, Naira Marley, Tiwa Savage, Olamide, Vector, and Ice Prince. In 2019, he further expanded his influence by launching the Kaywise Academy, contributing to the development of aspiring DJs.

In a show of solidarity with the EndSARS movement that emerged in Nigeria in 2020, DJ Kaywise released a mixtape titled “Revolution Mix Vol1,” using his platform to support social and political change.
