The Nigerian Police Force has once again assured Nigerians that the circumstances surrounding the death of Mohbad will be properly investigated.
The PRO of the NPF, Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi, gave another assurance on Saturday.
Adejobi confirmed that he met with the Commissioner of Police in Lagos on Friday.
Adejobi said: “We discussed at length on the right steps to be taken on the investigation of Mohbad’s death. We are sure the needful will be done, asap, to clear the grey areas. The police will continually speak to this matter.”
The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun had on Thursday ordered the Lagos Commissioner of Police to unravel the circumstances surrounding the death of singer Mohbad.
“The Nigeria Police Force is committed to a comprehensive investigation into this matter, as the Lagos State Commissioner of Police has been tasked to unravel the circumstances surrounding his death. Rest assured, updates will be provided as investigations unfold,” the statement from the IGP’s office reads.
