Joao Felix scored a brace and set up another as Barcelona crush Antwerp 5-0 on Tuesday at the Nou Camp in their first Champions League match this season.
Felix opened scoring for Barcelona 11 minutes into the game. He picked up the ball on the edge of the penalty box and produced a moment of magic with a brilliant shot that went into the left side of the goal.
Eight minutes later, Robert Lewandowski met a perfect cross from Felix deep inside the box, and he produced an accurate strike which went into the bottom right corner to make it 2-0.
Jelle Bataille gifted the homers their third goal, as he scored an own-goal while trying to clear a cross into the six-yard box.
Few minutes into the second half, Gavi was in the right place at the right time to get to the rebound inside the box and gleefully rifled the ball into the left side of the goal for Barcelona’s fourth goal.
Felix got his brace and Barcelona’s 5th goal after burying a close-range header in the bottom left corner after a good run and cross by Raphinha.
