India suspends visa services for Canadian citizens

India has suspended visa services for Canadian nationals as diplomatic ties continue to deteriorate between the two countries.
BLS International, the country’s visa service provider, confirmed on Thursday on its website.
The company cited a notice from the Indian mission.
It read, “Important notice from the Indian Mission: Due to operational reasons, with effect from September 21, 2023, Indian visa services have been suspended till further notice. Please keep checking the BLS website for further updates.”
