Julian Nagelsmann has been named Germany’s next head coach, succeeding the recently fired Hansi Flick.

Nagelsmann, the former Bayern Munich manager, will be in charge of the team until Euro 2024, which Germany will host.

He agreed to terms on a contract that will keep him at the club until the end of July next year, allowing him to leave after Euro 2024.

His assistants are Benjamin Glueck and Sandro Wagner.

Speaking about the challenge ahead, the 36-year-old coach expressed his excitement, saying, “We have a European Championship in our own country—that’s something special. I have a great desire to take on this challenge.”
