Scores of students, mostly female were abducted by the bandits around 4.00am on Friday, as the gunmen invaded students hostels off-campus.

But in a news flash on its X handle (Twitter) on Friday after, the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), reports that six of the students had been rescued by the troops and did not give details.
