Sulaimon Shekoni Solomon, widely recognized by his stage name Khaid, has shared insights into his journey to success before meeting Sydney Talker.

Khaid opened up about his humble beginnings during an appearance on the Hip TV show “Trending,” hosted by reality star Kim Oprah.

He emphasized that he had always believed he was destined for greatness and viewed these menial jobs as integral steps in his path to success.

Khaid revealed that he held various menial jobs before catching the attention of comedian Sydney Talker, who signed him to Neville Records.

The 18-year-old artist disclosed his past experiences, including working as a painter and a car mechanic during different phases of his life before achieving stardom.

In his words,“I see everything as programming. At that time when I was a car mechanic, I knew it was just programmed for me to be there at that time.

“I knew it was necessary for me to be there at that time. I knew that was not where I was going to be forever. But I just knew it was necessary for me to go through that process either for something that’s coming in the future or something that’s gonna happen at that time.

“I knew it was a process at that time. And I vibed with the process until I got to where I felt like is where I’m going to.”
