Criminals believed to be working for Simon Ekpa, self-styled prime minister of Biafra land, have unleashed terror in Ebonyi.

The criminals attacked people in Ezzamgbo, hometown of Ekpa.

Ekpa, who is based in Finland, had earlier banned celebration of Independence Day across the South East.

In an attempt to force a sit-at-home on Monday, Ekpa’s terrorists attacked traders and set vehicles ablaze at the popular Ezzamgbo Junction along the Abakiliki-Enugu highway in Ohaukwu Local Government Area.

They burnt three commuter buses, four motorcycles and one tricycle.
