Dr Sanwo-Olu made this call while leading members of the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO) in an awareness walk and campaign event in the Epe Division. This activity is part of the preparations for the 23rd National Women’s Conference scheduled to take place from October 17th to 19th, 2023.

She stressed that the conference provides a platform for women from diverse backgrounds to learn and share knowledge on important issues affecting women. The event aims to equip women to become better leaders and influencers in their communities.

The First Lady highlighted that the conference will educate women and youth about current trends and issues like food security, eco-friendliness, and cybersecurity. It will also provide information about the state government’s health insurance scheme and how it can benefit individuals and families.

Additionally, the conference will offer opportunities for women to connect and network. Various segments of the event will be streamed to accommodate a wide range of participants.

During the awareness walk, Dr Sanwo-Olu expressed gratitude to Hon.
