Super Eagles players celebrate one of their goals

The Super Eagles of Nigeria were held to a 2-2 draw by Saudi Arabia in an international friendly match played at the Estadio Municipal de Portimao, Portugal on Friday.

After a goalless first half, Saudi Arabia opened scoring 60th minute through Salman Al-faraj. It was a cheeky goal conceded.

On 67th minute, Nigeria’s Victor Boniface shot from 18 yards, but his shot went just over the bar.

The Eagles equalised on 72 minutes. The goal was scored by Boniface after a wonderful combination by Bruno Onyemaechi and Moses Simon.

Kelechi Iheanacho made it 2-1 for the Eagles on 80th minute. It was a great strike from the Nigerian striker.

Three minutes to duration, Iheanacho almost added another goal for Nigeria, but the Saudi goalkeeper had a great save.

Ten minutes into added time, the Eagles gave up their lead, allowing Mohamed Kanno to equalise, ending the match at 2-2.
