Bode Agusto, founder of Nigeria’s First Credit Rating Company, Agusto & Co has died at the age of 68, it was learnt on Thursday.
His death was confirmed by Olufemi Awoyemi, founder of Proshare on his X page on Thursday.
Bode had a degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos, an Executive Certificate in Strategy & Innovation from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sloan School of Management and was a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
In 2002, former President, Obasanjo invested Agusto as a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) for his contributions to the Nigerian economy.
