Big Brother Naija’s former contestant Pere has opened up in an interview, stating that Mercy Eke was his top choice when he entered the Big Brother house.
This revelation came during an honest conversation he had with fellow BBN housemate Uriel. When Pere and Mercy first entered the house, they were not particularly close.
It wasn’t until later in the season that they started developing a friendship. Their chemistry surprised both fans and fellow housemates.
During his time in the BBN house, Pere initially showed interest in Alex, mentioning that she was the only girl he felt comfortable getting physically close to.
In contrast, Mercy made it clear that she was in a relationship and not interested in dating anyone. However, as the season progressed, the two housemates grew closer and even shared a kiss on national television.
It’s worth noting that despite Pere’s recent revelation, he and Mercy unfollowed each other on social media just three days ago, leaving fans puzzled about the reasons behind their sudden breakup, as the cause remains unknown.
